In the world we live in today, it is very common to wonder how life skills are taught outside of the home. Most children and young adults need the proper guidance and direction to live a better life. Counselors, mentors, and advisors are community leaders that set an example and possess the knowledge to influence the betterment of others. A true leader is one who has the power, passion, and ability to guide others in the right direction. Leadership is having the control and will power to direct any group of people towards a common goal. There are several types of leadership traits and effective leadership styles that will be best for different situations. If leadership was easy, everyone would be doing it. Leadership requires more than just a few hopeful words and promises. It takes passionate and knowledgeable individuals to strive for greatness and lead others to do the same.
